Peace, Love, Eternity...Singleton Hippie Art

Peace, Love, Eternity is Now...
(c) Singleton

"The sky above me
was tangled with
twisted little twigs,
their boney fingers laced together
against the wind....
strumming sweet violin music
just before
the storm...

a hundred thousand
dragonflies paraded by,
swirling,
tumbling,
dancing,
laughing....

And then, I knew....

This was Peace."

Words and artwork (c) Singleton

Painted on a haunted hippie camp~out, watching eternity through the Tree tops....
the face of yesterday's Love, painted on the Ghost moon.... the wings of freedom, telling their story in the sky:)

Singleton Hippie Art, The Whisper

The Whisper

He whispered to me
from a ghost town,
pale blue voice
in the wind...
"Look...
Listen...
Believe..."

And on the wings
of every butterflythat passes,
every breeze that
plays woodland music outside my kitchen window,
I hear him still...."

Vinyl LP reincarnated to send the message round and round and round....Altered archival print of The Eternity Angel embellished with the psychedelic colors of Peace...

I've known you forever

Private Collection

I met an angel
by fate
or happenchance.
sitting out a dance
on the sidewalk of these pages,
and he whispered
to my soul,
in his raspy
yesterday voice,
with old words
in an old language,
the one word I've
waited to hear.....
Eternity.....

And I knew then,
what I had to whisper back.......

Peace.......
