Sometimes I'm All I have, Singleton Hippie Art
Sometimes I'm all I have
(C) Singleton 2009
SOLD
Crouched in the corner,
I'm alone...
in everday darkness.
Heaps of yesterday's clothes,
flopped like lazy monsters on the floor,
loll,
and laugh at me...
Their colors
shapes
stories
changing,
their memories banging
on my brain
until all I can hear is a
scream
so
thin
it's a guitar string
wailing....
Colored pencils, markers, ink on a page from Dancing on My Grave. Portrait of a friend with the Blues.

And sometimes my beautiful friend...
When we've sat with that aloneness for long enough.... let that wailing guitar play...
A sudden thread of light emerges from the darkness...
Reminding us that being 'alone'
is always just one L
away
One breath of Love
One remembrance of Light
One unexpected moment of laughter
away
from
ALL ONE
Loving you my cosmic wonderful friend,
M
Sigh....your artwork and your words, followed up and kissed by Maithri's words tump me right over. Simply beautiful. Both of you. Reminding me that we are never alone
Maithri....
Skinny....
"All one..."
Simply beautiful.
Feel the Love.
The Gift.
It grows.
Today I know,
I've been touched by Angels..
once you're part of someone's reality singleton...you're never alone again...
i've thought of you often...
(((((you)))))
OMG, Karoline! Huge, huge, huge Hugs! Oh, I've missed this world so much!
touched by Angels! All my love to you and your boys!
psychedelically dreaming of your musings and missing your crayola box of fabulescent art-iculatures....

I love this. The art, and the poem has to be one of your top 10 best ever.
