Moody little Moon, Singleton Hippie Art

Moody Little Moon
(C) Singleton

"Hovering...
Hanging out on top of my world,
loitering,
lounging,
listening.....

The many faces of the night changing...."

Colored markers, pencils, ink on Cardstock....
Sometimes peace is found in the midst of chaos....
And sometimes you just have to be a hippie to believe....

Listening, waiting for les frivolites to answer....I believe....in peace and love and people....
And the spirit of the ocean....
and honesty....
Every now and then I'll throw away pennies, toss them silly in a wishing pond....
31,000 pennies later....
And we don't have our barefoot boots......

But still.... I believe.....

Moody little moon indeed...last night was a fingernail moon and the sky was dark...
soon she'll be full again and maybe, just maybe les frivolites will come through for us...
the days, the nights just keep passing us by...

Silly little leather gaiters...
meant to be be for barefoot pixies in the sand....
tambourines and hand-me-down morrocos swaying in the wind...
One day.....
They'll show up in the mailbox....

I believe in peace and love
And I believe
in a man's word...
a woman's word...
it's the handshake of the spirit:)

Rachellovespeace...
You are so cute! And by the light of the moon....Sending you peace and Love!

You blow me away...

You know my friend... I'm in the middle of packing... and procrastinating... lol... its overrated i tell ya (packing i mean lol)!!

But there is a book called 'the miracle of water' by a Japanese scientist called Emoto...

And he talks about how water responds to words...

How it crystallises in perfect beauty and order when exposed to words of peace~love...

And crystallises in deformed, jagged ways when exposed to negative words....

I know this will make sense to you, because you more than any person I've ever met has the power to weave words into a tapestry of light...

When i see your art... when i read your words...

Quilts of colour
wrap around me

and remind me why life
is worth the living,

Thank you for being here,
in this world

Maithri

I'll call you when i get back from Swaziland!

Maithri...If you could only know the 1000 times I've thought
of you as you pack your bag,
map your trip,
wonder.....
as you take the first step,
hold the first hand,
lock eyes with the first
"love me" look that sees you back...
wishing you
a
world of
energy,
healing,
sharing,
love.....

on butterfly wings...

Ok Sister...maybe I am a fool in the moon!
Joyce of Les Frivolites out of Canada is the same Joyce of L'Escarpolette out of France.
She apparently has quite the reputation for building a business, establishing somewhat of a good reputation based upon her beautiful craftsmanship and then suddenly pulling a POOF! Disappearing with lots of people money and not delivering their goods.
She did it in France with her corset making business (L'Escarpolettes) and now with her spats aka gaiters, lol, known to us as barefoot boots with Les Frivolites.
If she only knew that we sat on the phone with each other, willing, wishing, wanting HER world to get better, when she said it was rocky...
Geesh, what a bad thing to do, but you know what...we don't go to the beach for another few weeks yet...
Maybe she will get the spirit about her to do what is right...
send us the items we paid for...
and we can continue to blindly will good fortune on folks in need, knowing that, given time, it will be alright.
She has my address...
Maybe they will show up on the front door step next week...
maybe!

skinny...And so it goes....you don't always get what you pay for....but sometimes, what you asked for.... I don't know what's going on...I googled, too, and didn't like what I read....but I'm a believer....and it would sadden me immensly to think...my instincts were wrong, that I was duped, that we were taken. And it would sadden me even more to know it....

Anon....Ahhh, the many faces of the moon....
She see's all....

DJ...Thanks...I so appreciate your words. The Moon fascinates me, She has a zillion different faces she pulls out to wear at night...

Much peace....

Did you ever get your gaiters or hear from the sender in question?

Justgivemepeace said...

Dee..LOL! Sometimes I believe blindly...

Dee...
In my old age...
I'm blind as a bat...
can't read without sunshine...
Can't draw in the dark...
Can't count my wrinkles...

And still I believe blindly...

I no longer have the knees for barefoot boots...
but,
they're mine. And Skinny's.

Because we
celebrated and clinked in their discovery...
Because we spent a gazillion pay~by~the~minute moments on the cell phones pixie dusting this purchase...
Because we paid good money in good faith with good intentions...
Because we believed...

And still,
our mail boxes are empty...
