Martini Moon
Outsider Woman Hippie Artwork
(C)2007, Singleton
I wasn't looking
So I can't look you in the eyes.
I have to sneak peeks,
So I'll remember
in the morning,
or maybe forever...
dancing
ever so slow
to The National Anthem
And it's so hot in here...
with Jimmy Page and Tina Turner
walls
holding up the sky...
But we laugh,
and
ever so slow,
under the blue martini moon...
I find your eyes

Wonderful idea, putting a message in a message. Nice to meet you to!
reflections.... am please to meet you too!
This is incrediblly good. But not the work. It is perfectly credible. Incredible are all the different things I could say about this poem. The begining line is so heartbreaking Your writing is alive, as alive as the drawings. And Jimmy Page and Tina Turner flounce in stoned, helping the walls to do their duty of holding up the sky. Wow.
eric.....
someone had to hold up the sky....
it was falling.....
...and so They were there, the walls and royal shamans and other friends with wide open eyes and minds. It was under sky's fall that we knew the music and danced, it was under sky's fall that the garden of eden opened once more. The sky, fallen, sliding down the walls in a race agaist the hours--the barefoot children will run to test this new legend, build new walls and lift sky to its perch, to rejoice at a triumph, ensuring the shaman's pattern for infinity...
eric....
wow! Were you there?
For that's just the way it was.....
