Peace, Let it Shine
(C) Singleton 2009
Sunrain....
the light early morning
glitter of a lazy
sun
stretching...
her wispy golden arms
reaching,
blonde locks cascading upward,
caught in the sudden
static electricity of a new day...
Peace rises...
And while the night
rolls over,
covers his head
with the thick
warm blanket of yesterday,
I salute the sun
and embrace the second chance
today brings...
