Tallulah Sees Trails
(c) Singleton
Portrait of My Sweet Hippie Cat, a Tribute to Tallulah
SOLD
"Tallulah Joe,
balanced on a tightwire,
Tuxedo legs dangling
lazy,
long,
and so black...that
He's almost Deep Purple
on the Eight Track,
20 years back...
His green eyes wander,
rheumyand irredescent,
circled in slivers of high yellow moons...
and then He sees them...
The make~believe world of a Stoned Cat on the Bar...
Trails...
Ribbons of color,
flashes,
fireworks,
fireflies under disco lights.."
Words and Artwork (C) Singleton 2010
Oh, I'll so miss the ever presence of Tallulah Joe draped on the Bamboo Bar...seeing things we'll never know.
Peaceful disclaimer: Tallulah was rescued from a not so friendly place...Where the bad people go. He settled into a long and happy life here in hippieland....but every now and then, he saw things......every now and then he was haunted.....
Today, he rests in Peace.

Oh, Sing, I'm sorry you lost Tallulah. I've never had a cat, but all my friends who have/had cats, love them so much. There seems to be a special bond.
You will always have the memories.
Great portrait of Tallulah!!

So sorry to hear of the loss of Tallulah. But what a beautiful artistic tribute you created - so happy it is off to a good new home. Theresa
I'm sorry for the loss of your kitty friend Tallulah. I know how it felt for me after 15 years of happiness with my cat buddy.
All is peaceful now.
Sweet Friends....
Thank you all so much for your words and thoughts...He was my little Trooper, growing taller and stronger by the day...When We first scooped him up and ran with him, his little whiskers and face fur were singed...He was cross eyed, and rheumy eyed, and scared of everything. The vet thought that kids had been blowing weed or something into his little face...It took a long time, but finally he knew everything would be OK here...
His tallness, his bigness, his cross eyed smile will be so missed...And in Kitty Heaven, where the boy in the Tuxedo suit will roam, he'll be safe and at Peace.
You're all wonderful....And I thank you....
Much Peace, for all...
Bye sweet emissary of peace send us a convert
Sandy.....hugs:) I know you know...
