Catch and Release, Singleton Hippie Art

Catch and Release
The Peace
(c) Singleton 2008

"There at the bottom of it all,
I scrunched my toes
deep into the sand
and held on for
a never~ever again
forever...

waiting to breathe....

To be lifted up again...

To see the sun....

And then....

I felt the tiniest thread
of change...
black waters turning tepid blue,
champagne chilled
and full of
life...

And I remembered...
what I needed to share....

Peace...."

Watercolors, food coloring, shaving cream, ink, colored markers and pencils on 11 by 11 recycled cardstock.

  1. Beautiful, wild words of peace,

    How we need to hear
    your song
    dear friend...

    Now more than ever,

    Sending you Peace
    and the fluency
    it brings,

    With love, M

  2. Ahhh,
    Maithri....
    When you send Peace
    in the wind...
    I see it
    in the morning...
    on butterfly wings..

    Much peace and love,
    my friend,
    Share it and
    all the things it brings!

  5. Todd....LOL! 'Round here, it's whatever I can put my fingers on.... If you make a whipped cream mountain out of shaving cream and dribble it with food coloring and then plop it on the paper and swirl it off, it makes the most incredible smelling and swirly twirly tye dyed background ever! I've been using the same old "who left this at my house?" can of shaving cream for years! Peace to you my sweet friend.

Ibeati.....Oh, I didn't know there was a movie named that! I hope it's a good one, not a spooky one!
    Peace~love sweet girl
