  1. I love this so much it hurts to hold back the tears and just smile. The painting is amazing, I see you are very inspired and confident and adventurous, with this woman looking through the leaves into dusty light.

And the poem says all the rest! Wow; you compressed so much feeling and just raw energetic charge into each word.

  4. You both are so awesome. I drop poetry like change, clothing and old well-loved skins, leaving the words to mix together and make new colors when I read your fantastic and imaginative words, Singleton, or when I read your energy and love of life and all of its metaphors that shines through on your writing, Skinny.
    clink!
(clink for later; I won't start this early, I promise!)

  11. yep, this is her. I have to have her! I got old levis and bugleboys from the late eighties early ninties, and probably some cash donation as well. I could send you a few books, but I'd have to go buy them, since I love my book collection.

Maybe some CD's but same deal, I'd have to buy it or replace it after giving you my copy. So that's no good, either.

We'll talk and come up with something.

  12. Eric....
    :)
And I didn't have to say a word.
    You left these walls,
unraveling a trail of golden thread
    and there,
    where you least expected it,
    and I, too
    the perfect trade took place
    the
    writings on the wall.....
