In
the dream
I was
making charms
from
rattlesnake
bites,
collecting them
like bottlecaps,
souveniers
from
some
poisenous
venomness
place.
In the morning's heavy breath,
I shed my nightime skin,
crawl out from under the covers,
and find,

Her eyese are huge. She has saucer eyes of malachite and that touch of yellow. Her lips are so cute pursed like that. nd the shading on her skin is incredible. You really have to look at these ladies close. The rods and the snakes call up the old bibical story of Moses and the sticks that turned to snakes in the Egyptian Pharoh's court.
All of this, the art, the presentation, the people involved. I'm so glad I went wandering that day, looking for poets and found Skinny and said high. Then you found me, Justgimmepeace, then Singleton sweetheart found me and we've been sipping on the back porch and laughing ever since.
clink!
I can't express how cool you all are. It's probably poem time.
WOW! This is beautiful!
Thank you for popping by my blog! Yours is AMAZING!
:^)
eric....it's always poem time! This little wide-eyed girl has been slow to finish, started before gimme peace, and finished after 365....and I don't often do that, leave them lazily growing on their own.....
peace, and Monday Mornings.....oh, let there be peace!
helena....Your art flashed into mind yesterday, while mowing a giant peace sign in my front yard, I let the cats on the porch and of all of them, guess who decided to swat open the door and take a tour of the big bad world? yup, Deja Vue, my little siamese..... Thanks for visitin'!
Singleton ... she is ever so pretty and your poem made me think of tommy-knockers...ILY
