Catching Marbles in the Rain, Singleton 2006, Outsider Art

Catching Marbles in The Rain
Outsider Art
(c) Singleton 2006

SOLD

In the early morning, sleepless,
"wandering the halls til almost dawn"
hours
I gave up and
trapsed outside
head banging
coughing
from a too late night
and
found her there
dancing in the knee high grass,
catching marbles in the rain.

Maryellen, I don't know what just happened here, but someone lost their marbles and of course, Paiger has a heap of psychic marbles, probably what this pic was born of, and then..here we go...chasing marbles in the rain! I don't know too much french, being southern, you know, but dahling I can fake it! Peace, love, and if you read through all these posts to get here, God bless you! I'm on my way to your place!

  23. ebayhound - P&L are not on ebay at this moment. Current works available for purchase are accessible via link on right side of JustGiveMePeace blogspot that says 'Buy SAS Art Now.'

Maryellen-How very flattering! However these items are not yet ready for purchase. Sorry :( but the will be soon enough!

SAS creates the artwork & Crunchyard(ebay ID) aka SkinnyLittleBlonde(blogger)handles it from there.

JustGiveMePeace,in Our World, is a gallery of sorts...a place to preview and/or review works by Singleton. All sales are facilitated through eBay.

Thank you MaryEllen, eBayHound, Anonymous & the two others that have contacted us with reference to this piece & others this week. We appreciate it astronomically & have faith that things will work out as they are meant to be.

In the meantime, Peace & Love to All.

  25. i dont know what to say, but with so many comments ive lurked here longer, and just wanted to confess

    ReplyDelete
  26. does anybody out there hear me confessing?

    ReplyDelete
  27. lurking longer, I may have been lurking even longer than you & heard your confession...just didn't know what to say, plus I confess, Ive been busy watching her catch marbles in the rain.
I have a question: why do all the marbles go over there? My house is right here & just as old but I don't find marbles in the rain.

  28. LL...I've heard you all along
The Neighbors Wife....your house is just as old, but how long have you lived there? Maybe, a little one, long before you came along, was flipping fateful marbles over the fence.....playing haunt me with the dogs next door....sometimes it's the one's that come before us that dig the road....we just come plodding along barefoot later, out for the run....Enjoy your old house! Enjoy the rain! And leave the marbles to your skinny little neighbor!
